DescriptionJojoba is applied directly to the skin for acne psoriasis sunburn and chapping. It is also used topically to promote hair growth for people who are losing their hair.
How does it work
Jojoba when applied to the skin is an emollient that soothes the skin and unclogs hair follicles. There is also an interest to use the jojoba for baldness: in fact many consider that clogged hair follicles are less likely to produce new hair.
The oil has a long life and can be stored for extended periods since it is a relatively stable liquid. It doesn't oxide and does not turn rancid over other oils because it does not contain any triglyceride contrary to grape seed oil and coconut oil for example.
